Jacó or Los Sueños: choosing where to stay
Jacó has a long surf beach, nightlife, restaurants and shops within walking distance of many hotels. Los Sueños is quieter and gated, with a marina, golf course and resort amenities spread over a larger area. Golf carts are most useful in Los Sueños because of that layout.
Many visitors stay at Los Sueños and go to Jacó for dinner, surfing or shopping by car or taxi. They use a golf cart for everything inside the resort.
