Golf Cart Rental in Herradura, Costa Rica

About Herradura and Playa Herradura

Playa Herradura is a calm, horseshoe-shaped bay with dark sand and gentle waves, framed by forested hills. The bay has local sodas, beachfront restaurants and fishing boats. Los Sueños, with its marina, golf course and residential communities, takes up the southern part of the bay.

Visitors come for sportfishing, golf, calm-water swimming and easy access to the central Pacific coast. San José is roughly an hour and a half away by car.

Our service area in Herradura

We focus on Los Sueños Resort & Marina, where golf carts are a normal way to get around and where delivery to eligible properties is free. Most of our customers are owners and guests staying in Los Sueños condos, villas and the hotel area.

If you are staying elsewhere in Herradura, message us before you book. Whether we can deliver to you depends on where your accommodation is and how you would reach the places you plan to go. We will tell you honestly whether a golf cart makes sense for your stay.

• Los Sueños Resort & Marina: free delivery to eligible properties
• Other Herradura accommodations: contact us to confirm before booking

Where you can drive a golf cart

Golf carts are low-speed vehicles. They are not suitable for every public road, and they should never be driven on Route 34 (Costanera Sur), the main highway along the coast. Plan to use the cart inside the resort and on suitable internal roads. For trips to Jacó, Playa Herradura town or further away, use a car, taxi or shuttle. See our transportation options guide.

Rates and booking

Rentals start at $64.99/day for a four-passenger cart, with multi-day discounts available. Six-passenger carts can be requested subject to availability. Full details are on the rental prices page. To reserve, send your dates through the availability form and we will reply on WhatsApp.
